Moscow Mule

Say hello to spring with the spicy, citrusy Moscow Mule.

Spring in New Zealand usually means temperamental, ever-changing weather, so you need a cocktail that’s perfect for any season. Enter, the Moscow Mule. The classic 1940s recipe marries vodka with ginger beer and lime juice for an easy vodka cocktail with a spicy kick.
Sadly, most ginger beers are chock-a-block with sugar and other nasties. But you don’t need to ditch the mule, as we’ve crafted a tasty wee concoction that swaps the ginger beer for freshly grated ginger and Lemon Vista.

Makes: 1 cocktail

Ingredients
45 ml vodka
120 ml fresh lime juice
1 tsp grated ginger
½ can of Lemon Vista
Lime slice to garnish

Directions

1) Add the vodka, lime juice and ginger to a copper mug and stir to combine.
2) Add ice to the glass and stir to mix.
3) Top with Lemon Vista.
4) Garnish with a slice of lime.

Cheers!
